Eden NE has given me opportunities beyond the delivery of technical work, allowing me to use my skills and experience to support the business in many different ways. As Eden NE is a small company, everything we do has to make a difference and has to have a business purpose. As a later career employee, the broader role and responsibilities have transformed how I work and what I can deliver for our clients.

I’ve worked across projects from decommissioning to new nuclear, collaborating with site operators and regulators. I’m part of a team where everyone brings their own expertise, keeping the work varied and engaging. The breadth of experience keeps things fresh and continually pushes me to develop.

I moved from academia and found a new home working at Eden NE in April 2025. Since then, I've worked on a wide range of projects in nuclear materials, all the way from the fuel cycle through to waste treatment and management. The work Eden are doing is helping me broaden my skills, adding commercial and hands on industry knowledge to the materials experience I have.

As a recent graduate in my early career, working at Eden NE has supported my professional development through training opportunities and the strong guidance of leading international experts. I have also had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, broadening my technical skills and developing my knowledge of the wider nuclear industry.
