We are delighted to announce that Dr Laura Offin joined Eden NE in July 2024 as a Senior Consultant. Laura has a background in Chemistry with a MChem in Chemistry with Environmental Science, and a PhD in Chemistry. She has most recently held roles within academia managing an Applied Chemistry degree programme, teaching students from the nuclear industry, and running a schools outreach programme.
Before starting employment at Eden NE Laura gained an insight into the nuclear industry by supervising student industry-based dissertation projects and interacting with professions within the industry and its regulators to ensure course relevancy for the degree programme she managed. Laura has previously been involved in materials research regarding fuel cell and battery materials and has an interest in energy production and environmental protection.
