Andrea is the Business Manager at Eden NE and joined in 2016. She has a previous qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and has previously been registered as a PRINCE2 Project Management practitioner. Andrea has more than 15 years' experience in business-related strategic organisation and support, primarily for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the engineering/ technical consultancy sector.

As Business Manager, Andrea leads the business support and administration team to ensure the smooth operation Eden NE's business, financial and administrative services. She has responsibility for all aspects of business management and support which covers everything from finance, payroll, and business administration, to issues associated with human resources. She also provides day-to-day operational support to the technical consultancy team, the main provision offered by Eden NE.

Andrea's experience in Project Management (including project finance and delivery) enables her to provide efficient and invaluable support to the technical team at Eden NE; her experience in this discipline has come from previous employment which includes being responsible for the management of a £5m European funded project which supported business in Cumbria and the north west.

Andrea is also Eden NE's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Manager, which requires consideration for the business administration aspect of Eden NE, as well for the offerings of technical consultancy. She is a Trustee of the Eden NE Share Incentive Plan (SIP) Trust and a Director of the Corporate Trustee company for the Eden NE Employee Benefit Trust (EBT). The SIP Trust and the EBT are vehicles of employee ownership for Eden NE.
