Amy is a Principal Consultant at Eden NE. She joined in 2016 after completing an MSc in Nuclear Decommissioning and Waste Management at the University of Birmingham. Amy is a Member of the Society for Radiological Protection (MSRP).

Amy's main areas of expertise are radiological assessment and radiological protection, and she applies her skills and knowledge in these fields on projects for a variety of clients within the nuclear sector. Since joining Eden, Amy has carried out work on a variety of projects for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA), including work on waste encapsulation, near-surface disposal, the Groundwater Daughter Directive and problematic wastes. She also updated Volumes 1 and 3 of the Integrated Impact Assessment of NDA's Strategy IV.

Amy has provided support to a variety of projects for LLW Repository Ltd's Environmental Safety Case (ESC) Team, including carrying out the 2017 Periodic Review of the ESC, authoring a report analysing the impact of data and modelling assumption changes on radiological assessment results, and co-authoring the Engineering Development Plan. In support of a permit application for a new nuclear power station, Amy project managed and performed work to update a radiological impact assessment and non-human biota impact report.

Amy has provided significant input on Eden NE projects focused on near-surface disposal and has supported major work for LLW Repository Ltd. This has provided her with an excellent understanding of the UK's Radioactive Waste Inventory.

Amy is an experienced user of radiological modelling software, including PC-CREAM 08 and ERICA, and has also developed bespoke models for radiological dose calculations. Amy supports Eden NE's company management as secretary of the Board meetings and through maintaining the sales pipeline.
